New graphic novels coming to you from EEP x Little Brown!

Little Brown Books for Young Readers is excited to announce a new partnership with Einhorn’s Epic Productions (EEP) in the form of an exclusive first-look deal.

Unique in its structure for the publishing world, the arrangement allows Little, Brown Young Readers to have exclusive early access to middle grade graphic novel IP concepts created by EEP.

EEP was founded in 2017 with a focus on underserved fandoms by entertainment professionals Heather Einhorn and Adam Staffaroni, co-creators of the hit scripted podcasts Lethal Lit and Daughters of DC, the forthcoming young adult graphic novel, The Curie Society, and multimedia animation project Free Hexel. Adam brings a decade of experience in kids’ comics, having helped launch several young readers’ imprints. The books produced under this first-look deal are primed to satisfy the already massive and hungry audience for graphic novels in the middle grade space by providing top-quality storytelling and a diverse and womxn-driven list of creators and characters.

“I’ve been following Adam and Heather’s work for years and am always thrilled by the imaginative, commercial, inclusive IP they are creating. So of course, I jumped at the chance to bring Einhorn’s Epic Production books to our burgeoning graphic novel list,” says Andrea Colvin, Editorial Director of Little, Brown Young Readers’ graphic novel program. “This team is so great—not only are Adam and Heather great pros with deep comics experience, but they have such a knack for discovering and harnessing new and diverse talent. We couldn’t be happier to have partnered with them and look forward to bringing their stellar graphic novels to readers everywhere.”

“When we launched EEP, a huge motivation for us was the opportunity to create amazing graphic novels for young readers hungry for something new and engaging,” said EEP CEO Heather Einhorn. “We’ve always been comics fans and our goal is to give today’s kids the kind of fun, aspirational stories we would’ve loved at that age. Andrea and her team know how to reach that audience and they’re building something really impressive at Little, Brown; we’re excited to partner with them on creating inventive stories that can grab a young reader’s imagination!”
