2022 Was The Year of Exploring Epic Universes
2022 has been a big year for celebrating our favorite fandoms! Here’s a rewind of some of our highlights.
New Universes to Explore
We were excited to embrace the 90s nostalgia and travel back in time with Nicki Fix’s Time Mix. Nicki’s dreams of rock stardom are pretty huge, but she and her friend Bobbie can’t get any attention online, and even less attention than that at the local roller rink where they play to their one fan, Liam, and an otherwise empty room every Friday. It’s not much, but at least it’s theirs – that is, until one fateful night when they learn the rink is getting torn down. If only they could go back in time and set things right . . . all of it.
The Slaysians Continue to Shine
The House of Slay superheroes continue to show up and make a stand. They were recently honored by the Council of Fashion Designers of America for the Positive Social Influence Award. Throughout the year, they were champions of inclusion and community, hosting the inaugural Brooklyn Nets AAPI Heritage Game and AAPI Night Market.
And the change continues, Season 2 of the web comic is now available with new episodes every Tuesday on Tapas.
