House of Slay Celebrates Inaugural AAPI Heritage Night with Brooklyn Nets 

On March 29th 2022, EEP joined the House of Slay team at the Barclays Center to celebrate the Nets’ inaugural AAPI Heritage Night. The team debuted an exclusive House of Slay merchandise collection which was also featured in a concourse photo backdrop and during a halftime dance performance.

The U.S. has experienced a steep rise in anti-Asian hate crimes since 2020. A recent report shows anti-Asian violence and harassment increased by 342% in 16 major U.S. cities in 2021 alone. The House of Slay team came together as a response to this rise in Asian hate crimes,creating the influential digital comic series and an accompanying apparel line. 

House of Slay is an inclusive space representing not only the AAPI heritage of its founders, but underrepresented voices from all walks of life. The merchandise collection will be available for purchase exclusively at the Brooklyn Fanatics Nets’ team store located at the Barclays Center.
